Hasta La Vista 2013

These are just a few of my favorite looks from the last year. I am eager to see what 2014 holds and where the wind will take me. I look forward to new adventures, new friendships, and certainly new trends! I love the confidence I have found this last year in myself, and look forward to trying bold new things in the year to come.

Cheers 2013! You were good to me.

Monday Mojo & Goals for 2014

I saw this post via Home Sweet First Home on Pinterest. This list has some great questions that make you think of what you really would like to work on/do this upcoming year.

What are your goals/resolutions for the upcoming new year?

Monday Mojo, Productivity, & Good Reads

I have been reading a lot of random articles on websites such as Huffington Post, Elite Daily, Thought Catalog, etc etc. I stumbled upon the following article at the tail end of last week:

(Read HERE)

I'm certain that if you read all 18 points, you probably said to yourself, "Yeahhhhh remember when....oh wait I'm guilty of all of this." Ok, maybe not all of the items, but for most individuals it is true that over the years things tend to fall by the way side, even simple things like truly taking the time to listen to your favorite song. Take the time to reevaluate how your days are spent, or maybe how you wold like to spend them in the future. I know I intend on finding a cozy spot to sit and read a book for a few hours each week.

What is something you would like to start making time for again?

Monday Mojo

While most individuals reserve Monday to further exploit their hate for this day of the week via social media, I see Mondays as a day to start a fresh week and get the ball rolling. Motivated to become more diligent at maintaining my blog (possibly a New Year's Resolution?) I have brainstormed new ideas to improve upon Bold & Blonde!

Without further ado I bring you the first installment of Monday Mojo! Pronounced Moe-Joe. Sorry for those of you still in an alcohol induced hangover/coma from the weekend, there are no fruity cocktails here.

A friend of mine on Facebook shared a video called "This Is Water" by David Foster Wallace (thanks Jlowe!). Along with thousands of other recent college graduates, I am in pursuit of finding a job all the while figuring out what it is I want to do with the rest of my life. This video will hopefully spark something within you, even if it's something as small as deciding to have pulp or no pulp in your OJ this AM.
